LFC : Patience is a virtue

After the lost to Fulham last Monday, our third in the league, there's already talks about Liverpool would not make it to finish among the top four at the end of this season. I beg to differ. We have a great manager in Kenny Dalglish.

Things have changed a lot since King Kenny came back. There's more 'togetherness' around and everybody that's associated to the club. Among the players, among the fans. The 'good' spirit is definitely there. It's something clearly to be seen from the way the team is playing right now and how the fans keeps on cheering and singing for them.

2004/5 season when Rafa came in, we finished 5th. But Rafa was fortunate to bring back the Champions League Cup back to Anfield. It was not until season 2008/9 did the team really perform admirably. Only to finished second behind United due to the draws that they had that season.

My point is, Kenny's returned to Anfield does not guarantee an instant success. Yes, we have new owners and they have been magnificent! Supporting Kenny and his team to rebuild the team, financially. New players came in and the unwanted were released or sold. But we have to realized that other teams are doing the same. Comparing against time, only AVB is new to Premier league. But he inherited a strong squad as for Kenny he does not have that luxury. Arsenal, even though they didn't really spent with 'big' name players, most of them have been together under Wenger for years. Mancini, had 1 full season oh hist belt but money is not an issue for him, just look at where they are at the moment.

If we can draw a graph, Liverpool are actually climbing. They just need to be more consistent on their performance and another couple of years we could see Liverpool challenging for everything.

Another plus point for Liverpool since Kenny came back, we are no longer a 1 or 2 man team. Gerrard has not been performing, Carra has been missing too. We no longer have Torres. Although we have Suarez but we are now seeing the importance of other players as well. Just like the old days. It was never about Rushie, Barnes, Beardsley or any particular player. It has always been about the team.

Everyone will definitely play their part in Liverpool's season. Be it Henderson, Lucas, Kuyt, Carroll, Suarez, Maxi, Reina, Agger, Skrtel, senior players or young players, newcomers or old players, all for one and one for all!

It will be a stern test for the home team tonight. QPR has been great! It won't be easy but I am sure we will get the 3 points.

3 losses, but I have never seen the players are affected with the bad result that came in their way. They were frustrated but they moved on and keep on playing the way that they should have.

I am stressing again that it is a work in progress. With luck on our side, I'm sure the Reds are as good as any team in the league.
