We are already at the end of June and so far Liverpool FC has only secured one new signing in Jordan Henderson. It's interesting to see the fan's frustration (this including myself) when the day passes by with no other confirmed news from LFC whether the club has secured other players; in which the players that the fans wants to see playing for LFC.
Besides Liverpool, only Manchester United, Sunderland, Arsenal and Newcastle have been very active in the transfer market. So I guess we should not be panicking yet.
In this modern and very sophisticated era, the fans will have access to news and rumors very fast. They will have their say, who should come in, who should go, a manager is doing the right thing or a manager should be sack. But none of the mentioned will actually help the club they love.
This is because the man who is actually doing the job is the manager himself. At LFC this will be managed by Damien Comolli and Kenny Dalglish.
Since Kenny took charge things have change. The team is playing better. The players are happy coming into games and trainings and the fans are smiling again.
Yes the fans will always demand the best for the club but we also have to remember, now we have Kenny Dalglish. Obviously he will do his very best to bring the club back to where it is. Yes we will be frustrated when day in day out all rumors just stays as rumors.
When Kenny signed Jordan Henderson, the fans are already buzzing. "LFC is having too many midfield. Who should play and who should go?" And that's only 1 new inclusion. So far LFC has not signed other new players.
Kenny is seeing things that we as fans don't see. And he will have Damien Comolli to assist him. Definitely both of them have plans and targets. Things might not happen for LFC now but it will happen eventually.
Lets us as fans just let them do their work. I'm sure whoever they bring in or whoever they let lose will benefit the club for a long run. We will have our turn, that is giving our full support to the club when the time comes.
YNWA !!
