LFC : It's all in the mind

3rd consecutive home draws and the 4th in the season. The recent one was against the newly promoted Swansea. It was not an ideal result but looking back 13 months ago, it was a better overall performance.

November last year, we opened our account with a Europa League win against Napoli. Then a very convincing win against Chelsea at home. After that we only won once with 2 losses in between.

This time around KD and his charges are on a 7 unbeaten league games run. At least the boys are not making a lost as a habit. The team's pattern of play has changed under KD. It is more enterprising than before. Up until know I believe it's the consistency is lacking.

Looking at the stats, 25 shots on goal were made. 10 were made outside the box and 15 were from inside the box. The numbers tells us that the guys are getting into the position. Football is always going to be football. At the end of the day, it is the goals that counts.

Again, Liverpool FC is in a rebuilding process. 13 months ago, we are left devastated with the results and with the way the players performed. Now, we are only left devastated with the end result. Not so much on how they played. Of course, being a fan you always want the team to win.

Looking back at 2008/09 season where we finished 2nd in the league. A total of 11 draws and we lost 2 league games. We have to admit that if draws could be avoided we might have been the champions that season. It took Rafa 3 or 4 seasons to do that. KD has not completed one full season yet.

Last year during Hodgson's time, we could see the body language of the players. They just lost their confidence. They forgot how to win. Let alone to snatch a point. Back when Rafa was in charge, how many times we could see the team clawed their way back from a losing position to finally be able to take the full 3 points.

Now under KD, they are in the process to go there. KD is moulding a championship team for the future. They need the sense of belief in themselves. So far they only know how not to lose, but they are still learning how to win.

They aren't yet a complete 'winner' because winners will always do what is necessary in order to get what they want.

KD admitted the latest result was not an ideal result and he feels that change have to be made. I'm sure he knows that the players aren't doing enough when it comes to converting their chances. We do have the players with the abilities, just need to brush them up and make it a habit for them.

2008/09 we drew 11 times and still managed to finish second. I am convinced that this time around we will definitely finish among the top 4 teams. It's all in the mind .... YNWA

they better start producing good results now...otherwise kenny's head will be on the chopping block! need to buy another proven striker though & stop depending on suarez for goals...villa or tevez should be suffice, on loan of course!
