LFC: Transfer news - good and bad

LFCTV officially revealed that they have agreed a fee up to 26.5million euros to secure the services of luis suarez which made the fans buzzing with excitement. a couple of hours earlier it was also reported that lfc rejected a bid for fernando torres from chelsea. and a couple of hours after the news about suarez lfc again rejected a transfer request from torres.

having heard that suarez is coming was tremendously good news but torres leaving? torres has been magnificent for the club and is one of the best players the club currently have. according to reports he stated that it would be a good career move.

i would have imagine that having a new owner, then the arrival of the king and lastly to secure the services of suarez would have meant something for any liverpool player. this means that the new owners is giving a statement ... they want lfc to be the best.

yes it's true liverpool is not having a really good season. any professional players will be questioning the club's ambition and torres is one of the best strikers in the world would have had the same thought. he wants to win honors. liverpool can't seem to fulfill that at the moment.

we will never know what's really going on with every players mind. but an official statement has been released from the club's official website and the transfer news must have been true at some point.

now it's up to the new owners and maybe the king himself to persuade torres to stay. this couple of days will surely be an agonizing wait for the fans that hopes torres stays. fans are restless because they want torres to stay. any fan of any club would have the same reaction if they have torres but in this professional era only the players know why they want to leave.

i'm just hoping and wishing that when torres made the transfer request to lfc he didn't know that the club has finally reached an agreement to get suarez. with the new arrival that must have meant somehing.

well, player comes and goes. if torres decides to stay that's good. if he really leaves the club we would wish him all the best for the future. life goes on for lfc and the fans. i still believe with the king at the helm, we will be better sooner than we expected. YNWA !
