LFC : A Swansea win and getting stronger

After a good result last weekend, the Reds would want to continue their winning form against another newcomer in the BPL, Swansea.

Like QPR and Norwich, Swansea is not a team that Liverpool can take lightly. They have been magnificent so far, lying 10th with 12 points. Only 6 points separating them with us. Statistics are telling us that BPL is a tough league and even the 'new comers' can do well in their first season. How well can these teams sustain their form until the end of the season is another story.

KD also stressed how important for them to get the 3 points on Saturday,  which in a way meant they will not be underestimating Swansea. A team which demands the respect from the Reds, but should not be intimidated with.

I have not really watched their game this season, but their position in the league tells me they are a formidable team. Having scored 12 times already, also tells us that they are not lacking in fire-power. The good thing they have let in 15 goals. With the in-form Suarez-Carroll partnership, it's a good opportunity for them and the team to increase the tally.

Liverpool have been playing great football thus far. Fast attacking game but have been unlucky. A team that has hit the post 10 times so far this season, highest in the league. In terms of league position, it may differ if those 10 shots that hit the post just went in.

I am predicting that KD will start with Pepe in between the post. Skrtel will partner Agger in the center of defense while we will see Johnson and Enrique as the full-backs. The midfield could be a bit tricky. Lucas will definitely start. Other slots will be occupied by Adam, Downing and maybe Hendo. Up-front, it's an obvious choice, Suarez and Carroll.

Carroll has shown tremendous improvement. His understanding with Suarez also has improved. It's good to keep him playing regularly as I can see he will get better. He may not be as prolific as we hoped for, but his work rate is just fantastic. Having him more frequent will also build a stronger understanding with the other players. It may come in handy, if Suarez is out injured or suspended.

Besides Carroll, the midfield too has been performing better. It was clearly seen in the last 2 games that they have played. Lucas was sorely missed during the 1-1 draw against Norwich, but he came back as the team's captain in the carling cup game. Another steady performance last week and it was his clever pass to Suarez who later on feed the ball to Carroll to score Liverpool's second goal. Adam and Downing have not convinced me yet, still trying to find their footing in the team, but they have backed this up with their high work rate.

Overall, the team is getting better. We still have Kuyt, Maxi, Gerrard and Carra, who are both injured, Spearing, Coates, Kelly, Aurelio and Bellamy who will definitely will have a part to play through out the season.

We just entered November, there are still plenty of football to be played. I'm convinced that we will definitely finished as the top 4 and I'm also convinced that we will win at least 1 cup this season.
