31 passes before torres latches the ball into the roof of the net. as you can see when it all started kuyt was on the right hand side of the field and ended up on the left side of the field before the goal. see the movement made by the players and how the ball was played on the deck.
the change from hodgson's style to kenny's was obviously on how liverpool is playing now. hodgson did tried to get the boys to play the ball on the ground too but it didn't really worked for him.
hodgson inherited most of the players from rafa that was 7th in the league for season 2009/10. the team is already having some problems then. injuries to gerrard and torres plus the lost of form are the few contributors to the downfall of liverpool. besides having non-football knowledge owners in gillet-hicks doesn't really improve things either. with that rafa was asked to step down and in came hodgson which made things worst.
similarities between hodgson and rafa, the team lost twice as many as they should have. the difference was while the team was still under rafa they still manage to hold to ball a lot longer. keeping possession was still good with the team. but they were lacking fire-power upfront. with hodgson the boys can't even play a decent football game.
pundits, fans, critics starts to point fingers. managers are not good enough they said. others were telling these players should not don the liverpool jersey.
so far kenny dalglish has shown something else. poulsen suddenly is not as bad as what people said. meireless has been spotless. johnson, playing in an unfamiliar role at leftback is just awesome. what needs to be said?
the season is still long for liverpool football club. i'm sure what kenny wants to do first is just to bring back everyone's confidence level to where it belong.
