Liverpool will entertain Norwich this Saturday for tea time kick-off. After last week's draw, the men in Reds would want to continue their unbeaten form in the league.
Norwich is a side that has just gained promotion to the Premier League this season and has not done too bad. Just 3 points adrift they will give Liverpool a run for their money. On paper, Liverpool should have no problem to overcome Norwich at home but as the premier league has shown it in previous seasons, that would not be the case.
Liverpool, still in a 're-building' process under KD, will welcome Glen Johnson, Agger and Aurelio into the squad after coming back from their respective injuries. The trio got a run-out in midweek against Rangers, which the Reds lost 0-1. Meanwhile Lucas will be suspended and Robinson was reported to be out due to injury.
KD is confident that his charges will still come out on-top despite the absence of Lucas. It will be interesting to see who will be playing in Lucas's role tomorrow. We know Stevie G is fit to play but it will be a waste if he plays as a holding midfielder.
We have plenty of midfield players but who has the 'class' to be playing just in-front of the back four? Or might KD change his tactics? He could be playing with a 3 center-backs and an extra men to be deployed as a holding or defensive midfielder.
It could be an interesting formation though, 5 midfield in Gerrard, Downing, Bellamy, Henderson and Spearing. Kuyt can be deployed as a 3rd striker together with Carroll and Suarez. Very offensive in my opinion, and by looking at my prediction line-up, it is to anyone's guess that Spearing will be playing Lucas's role. Henderson will partner Gerrard at the center of the park while Bellamy and Downing will roam on either side of the flanks.
Another option that KD might deploy Aurelio on that position in a 4-3-1-2 or 4-4-1-1 formation. I can see that Johnson might start on the bench as he just came back from an injury. If easing the players back to first team action, then Aurelio might start on the bench as well.
Regardless who starts or what formation they will be using, it is also important not to underestimate Norwich. The players must not get too complacent. Psychologically speaking, Paul Lambert's men might be playing a very defensive game. But I won't be surprise if they'll come out an attack from the very start. Either way it will be a stern test to Liverpool.
The men in Reds just need to keep their cool heads. Play to their strength and not to be too overzealous. I'm having a strong feeling that Carroll might be the player to watch tomorrow.
Can't wait for the game, can't wait to wake up on Sunday and have a smile before switching my focus to the Rugby World Cup Final match between the All Blacks and France.

We have to be wary of Lambert's side. They almost upset Manure at Old Toilet. Here's hoping those Manure will draw/lose to their Shitty cousin. Shit happens! ;-)
