Losing games - it's part of the big plan

As I sat down watching the game against Newcastle last night, I noticed something was not right. First time this season I was not worried that we lost again. There's so many points telling me that they are not actually concentrating at the league anymore.

Yes, I have to agree that the players tried, but only good during the first half. Even then their body language is telling me otherwise. It's like the team does not want to play the game.

I believe there's more tales than what we actually know.

I believe yesterday's game was more between LFC v Mr Atkinson rather than Newcastle v Liverpool. From the very beginning we know we are in for a tough match. But it gets tougher when we have a ref who is not being professional enough.

Yeah, some might say I am looking for scape-goats. I don't want to admit that Liverpool is lousy this season. Fair enough, Liverpool do not look like they are ready to get back into Europe (mainly the Champions League) next season. The new players that have come in are not performing as what we would like to see they have and should, but winning the Carling Cup was not a fluke either.

Statistics also shows that we created a lot of chances. We have the most shots that hit the bar in the league, and I bet our statistics for having the most corner kicks are right up there.

Newcastle didn't play that great yesterday. Hatem Ben Arfa, credit to him, was dangerous but I do believe that we could have contained him. Newcastle's first goal was a fair goal. Yeah our defense could have dealt with it better, but that is not the reason why we should have faltered.

Andy Carroll, he was battered again and again by the Newcastle players. But the referee never really protected him. Luis Suarez was constantly kicked and the same goes to Bella. It's football and I praised them for just keep on fighting. There was one incident at the center of the park where Carroll was elbowed by Tiote, well we only got a free kick but no cards were shown.

Cisse's goal came right after we had a genuine call for a penalty at the other end. It never happened. Before that yeah, Carroll was shown a yellow card for a dive in the box. Truthfully I was disappointed by Carroll's action. He should have buried the ball behind the net. But his second call for a handball was never a doubt.

Newcastle's second goal, another bad refereeing. Cisse was clearly in an off-side position. The goal stood. The more surprising factor that I noticed that, why the Liverpool players aren't protesting to the match officials? Well, something tells me they knew, there's no point. More players will be punished with yellow/cards if they try to argue with Mr Atkinson. So they just went on.

During the second half, Cabaye did some astonishing acting on the field. He tried to get Suarez into trouble but it was obvious that he was the one who was supposed to be booked by Mr Atkinson. The yellow card never came.

We've lost to Wigan, QPR and now Newcastle. That's bad. A lost will always be a lost. Astonishingly Kenny doesn't seem angry. He's as cool as he could be and this is puzzling me. I came into a conclusion that somehow I think they are not trying to fight anymore (in the league). Too much damaged has been done.

They can't criticize the ref, they can't retaliate, look what happened to Suarez when everybody tried to help him. 8 games ban. I might be wrong, but if we do excel in the FA Cup I think everyone have to stop blaming the players and Kenny.

I believe we are not that bad. We've shown what we can actually do. We defeated Chelsea, we defeated Man City. Look at how we outplayed Man United in the FA Cup. Well, look at how we outplayed most of the teams in the league (do not look at the end result). No one can deny we can actually play good football. Our brand of football are actually scaring the oppositions.

We'll finish strong in the FA Cup. That's what I believe. Kenny will carry on to be the manager for LFC and he'll be there when we win the league.

Pepe's ban will be a loss to us. But that's why we have the experienced Doni for cover. Anyway, Pepe has been off form for a while. This ban could work wonders for him to be recharged.

By the way, the cockney/scums medias are doing everything they can to stir up a revolt against KD especially after the so-called LS race row. Unfortunately, some supporters are falling for it.
